How SSLNexus handles information associated with the public website, licensing and online product services.
1. Scope
This notice explains how personal information may be handled when you use the SSLNexus public website, request information, purchase or administer a licence, or use online product services. It does not cover information that remains solely inside your self-hosted SSLNexus installation.
2. Information We May Receive
- Information you provide when contacting us, requesting a trial, purchasing a licence or seeking support.
- Basic account, organisation, billing and subscription information where applicable.
- Technical information necessary to operate and secure the public website, such as IP address, browser information, request logs and security events.
- Limited licence-validation and support information from installed SSLNexus software, including licence/installation identifiers, hostname, operating-system/version, kernel, architecture, SSLNexus version, aggregate service-health state, source IP observed by the authority, and activation/last-seen timestamps.
3. Information SSLNexus Is Not Designed To Collect Through Licence Validation
Licence validation and support telemetry are not intended to transmit certificate contents, certificate private keys, certificate-authority credentials, customer deployment credentials, vendor credentials or the contents of customer-authored automation flows.
4. Why Information Is Used
- To provide the website, documentation, trials, subscriptions and support.
- To validate licences and enforce the capacity purchased or selected.
- To maintain service security, prevent abuse and investigate faults.
- To manage commercial records and respond to enquiries.
- To meet applicable legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
5. Service Providers And International Processing
Hosting, security, payment, communications or other service providers may process limited information on our behalf where necessary to provide the service. Where information is processed across borders, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used as required by applicable data-protection law.
6. Retention And Security
Information should be retained only for as long as needed for the relevant service, contractual, security or legal purpose. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Website Analytics And Consent
Optional website analytics are disabled until you grant analytics consent through the public-site privacy controls. If enabled, analytics providers may process technical usage information needed to measure visits and website performance. SSLNexus configures this category separately from essential site functions and does not use the analytics choice as permission for personalised advertising.
