NetScaler / Citrix ADC Certificate Automation
First-Party Network Target
SSLNexus uses the NetScaler NITRO API through the same local Ansible API-provisioning model used by other first-party network adapters.
Configuration
- NITRO API identity and HTTPS endpoint.
- Explicit certificate-key object name.
- At least one authorised binding: SSL virtual server, SSL service or SSL service group.
- Optional SNI binding.
Workflow
- Upload the certificate and private-key files through the NITRO system-file API.
- Create the managed SSL certificate-key object.
- Bind it only to the configured vServer, service and/or service group.
- Read the certificate-key binding back for verification.
Certificate/key transfer occurs only between the customer-controlled SSLNexus Client Server and the customer-controlled ADC management API.
